Prince Albert II of Monaco
His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco is patron of the Ardingly Solar Team. Prince Albert, a keen sportsman, environmentalist and automotive enthusiast, heads a Foundation committed to the promotion of renewable energies and the role they play in the transition towards a low carbon economy.

He says Ardingly Solar’s approach and values are in line with his, adding:
“I wish the solar car team every success in the design, build and race of a new solar car, following Ardingly College’s successful participation in the 2015 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.”
Ardingly College
Ardingly is an independent co-educational, boarding and day school. Situated near Haywards Heath. Ardingly has a passion for innovation and sustainable technology. Ardingly has been working on green technologies for six years. Working with Cambridge university, Maclaren and many other major companies and institutions. Bringing the latest technologies into the classroom.
UTC harbourside
UTC Harboursideis a new college situated in Newhaven for 14-18 year olds interested in engineering, maths and computing. The UTC just started working with the Ardingly Solar project, in order to help to manufacture with their students the new solar car using their new wonderful facilities.
Portslade Aldridge Comunity academy
Portslade Alridge Community Academy (PACA) is located near Brighton. It has recently joined the Ardingly solar project. PACA has a STEM center in the schools that provides valuable support in design and innovation to the car.
